What types of emails are sent from the platform? (Sending Emails, Notifications, Automated)

Emails sent to investors from the platform can be divided based on when and how they are sent: 


  1. Automated Workflow Templates
    • Emails triggered when the user takes specific action within the platform 
    • These emails can be customized on the Engagement page (click here to learn more)
    • Some examples:

      Email
      Trigger
      New Sign UpA user signs up to use the platform
      Account ApprovedAn admin approves an investor account to grant them permission to use the platform
      E-Sign Document Requires SignatureA user has a pending document to sign or countersign
      Transaction CreatedA user completes the investment process
      Transaction ApprovedA user's transaction is approved by a platform administrator
      Payment ReceivedAn electronic payment has been cleared/received by integration partner, such as North Capital, Strip, etc.


  2. Campaigns
    • Email campaigns that the platform administrator can create based on where the investor is in the investment process, or based on an investor account list
    • The content and timing is customizable (click here to learn more)


  3. Manual Emails
    • Emails from or to an admin that are manually triggered such as:
      • Secure Invite Link: email created to invite a user directly into the platform, which can direct the user to a specific offer page, tab, or update
      • Contact Us: emails sent from investors to the platform administrator and/or issuer
