How can I change an account type? (Individual, Entity, Switch Account, Account Update)

Account types can be changed, if needed.  The available account types are: 

  • Individual
  • Institution / Entity
  • Issuer


To update an account type: 

  1. Select Accounts from the left menu
  2. Click the checkbox on the account(s) you would like to change
  3. Click Engage
  4. Choose Change Account Type from the drop-down menu
  5. Select the new account type
  6. Click Change Account Type

    NOTE: If you are switching from an individual to an entity, it is helpful to open up the account in a new tab first.  This way, you can make the switch in one tab, and update the entity name in another tab to see it populate in the CRM.
