Account types can be changed, if needed. The available account types are:
- Individual
- Institution / Entity
- Issuer
To update an account type:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Click the checkbox on the account(s) you would like to change
- Click Engage
- Choose Change Account Type from the drop-down menu
- Select the new account type
- Click Change Account Type
NOTE: If you are switching from an individual to an entity, it is helpful to open up the account in a new tab first. This way, you can make the switch in one tab, and update the entity name in another tab to see it populate in the CRM.
