If you ever need to change a user's email address, or you need to add a user to an investor's account, there are several options to proceed.
Editing an existing user:
If the user just needs to modify their email, you can take the following steps:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Click into the investor's account
- Choose the Users tab
- Click the pencil icon next to the user
- Update the email address
- Click Update user
Adding a new user:
If the user would like a second email address to their account, you can take the following steps:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Click into the investor's account
- Choose the Users tab
- Click Add a new user
- Provide the user's first name, last name, and email
- Click Create new user
Adding an existing user:
If you are trying to update or add a new user, but the user's email address already exists somewhere else in the platform, you will want to take the following steps:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Click into the investor's account
- Choose the Users tab
- Click Add an existing user
- Enter the user's email address into the field
- Click on the returned results
- Choose the User role from the drop-down menu
- Click Add user
