Obtain Digital Communication Consent - Rule 302(a)(1) (Reg CF, Account Setup Form, Acknowledgement)

To satisfy Rule 302(a)(1), platform users must agree to receive electronic communication. 





To update the Account Setup Form with a required acknowledgement, follow the steps below: 

  1. Select Platform from the left menu
  2. Click Forms
  3. Use the pencil icon to edit an available form
    • For example: Individual Investor - Account 
  4. Click Add A New Field 
  5. Choose the Acknowledgement field type
  6. Use the text editor to add your message
    • For example: I consent to the electronic delivery of all communications and materials.
  7. Use the checkbox to select Add to Account Setup Form
  8. Use the Required checkbox to make the field required
  9. Click Save
