To satisfy Rule 302(a)(1), platform users must agree to receive electronic communication.
To update the Account Setup Form with a required acknowledgement, follow the steps below:
- Select Platform from the left menu
- Click Forms
- Use the pencil icon to edit an available form
- For example: Individual Investor - Account
- Click Add A New Field
- Choose the Acknowledgement field type
- Use the text editor to add your message
- For example: I consent to the electronic delivery of all communications and materials.
- Use the checkbox to select Add to Account Setup Form
- Use the Required checkbox to make the field required
- Click Save
