Documents are visible to investors within their individual accounts. If you need to share a file with multiple investors belonging to separate accounts, you can do so in bulk.
To bulk upload documents, you can follow the steps below:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Use the checkboxes next to the accounts that require documents
- Click Engage
- Use the drop-down menu to select Upload Documents
- Check the box I want specific documents to be uploaded into specific accounts
- Choose how your documents are matched
To ensure the correct documents are going to the correct investor, you have 3 options available to match your document to the investor when uploading:
Match by WB Account Number
- When using the WB Account Number, you will need to append the number to the end of the file name
- Alternatively, if you have a series of files in a folder for a single investor, you can include the account number in the folder name
- Required format: file or folder name_accountnumber
- Example: offerupdate_12345424

Match by Account Name
- When using the investor account name available in the platform, you will need to be sure that the investor's full name is included in the file or folder name
- Example: John Lang Tax Documents
- Example: John Lang Tax Documents
Match by Your Custom Identifier
- If you have a text field that you use to store identifying information about your investors (for example: a custom ID from a previous system), you can use it to match files to accounts
- Example: Tax Documents_12345
- Example: Tax Documents_12345
After selecting a matching option, continue with the following steps:
- Click Upload a folder
- Apply any settings (such as a Related Offer or Restriction)
- Click to upload your file
- Review the mapping
- If any items were incorrectly mapped, use this screen to enter the correct account name
- Confirm
