How can I customize the roles assigned to users in investor accounts? (Customizing Users, Account Access, Updating Access)

When adding Users to an Account in the platform, there are several roles available to assign.  


To edit a user's roles: 

  1. Select Accounts from the left menu
  2. Click into any account
  3. Choose the Users tab
  4. Use the User Role drop-down menu to select a role
  5. Click Update User


Available Roles: 


Individual Investors

  • Individual Admin
    • Individual Admins can invest in offers
    • They can edit Account information
    • They can add new users to the account
    • They have the ability to edit all users in the account



  • Individual
    • Individuals can invest in offers
    • They can edit Account information
    • They have the ability to edit only their own users


  • Individual Read Only
    • Read-Only users do not have access to perform any actions in the account or in offers
    • They have the ability to edit only their own users


Institution/Entity Investors

  • Entity Admin
    • Entity Admins can invest in offers
    • They can edit Account information
    • They have the ability to edit all users in the account
  • Entity
    • Entities can invest in offers
    • They can edit Account information
    • They can add new users to the account
    • They have the ability to edit only their own users 
  • Entity Read Only
    • Read-Only users do not have access to perform any actions in the account or in offers
    • They have the ability to edit only their own users

Issuers

  • Issuer Admin
    • Issuer Admins can view their Offers, view investor Engagement, Documents, and Transactions
    • They will receive notifications when questions are posted to the Q&A section of their offers
    • They will receive copies of emails sent to investors
    • They can edit Account information
    • They can add new users to the account
    • They have the ability to edit all users in their account
  • Issuer 
    • Issuer Admins can view their Offers, view investor Engagement, Documents, and Transactions
    • They can edit Account information
    • They have the ability to edit only their own users 
  • Issuer Read Only
    • Read-Only users can view Offers, investor Engagement, and Transactions
    • They do not have permission to make any changes to the Account 
    • They have the ability to edit only their own users
