Once you have completed setting up your offer, you'll want to test it using an investor account before making it visible to real users.

Updating Offer Access
You will want to update your offer access to only allow your test investors to see the offer.
- Select Offers from the left menu
- Click into the offer you would like to test
- Choose Access on the left
- Use the Offer Visibility drop-down menu to select Invite Only (Hidden)
- This will prevent any real investors from viewing your offer before you have completed testing

Registering as New Investor
Using an email address you have access to, use the option to Sign Up as a new account from your platform landing page
- This step is recommended, as it will demonstrate the entire investor journey
NOTE: We do not recommend creating any test investor accounts with the email address that you are using in your admin account. We always suggest using a personal email address to test.
Inviting Your Test Investor
Once your investor account is created, you will need to invite them to view the offer.
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Use the checkbox to select your new investor account
- Click Engage Selected
- Choose Send Email or Invite
- Be sure to select the offer you are testing as the link landing page

Creating Test Investor Account as an Admin
If you would like to skip the sign up process, you can create a new test account as an admin:
NOTE: We do not recommend creating any test investor accounts with the email address that you are using in your admin account. We always suggest using a personal email address to test.
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Click Add Account
- Choose the account type
- Complete all required fields
- Click Save Account
Using Allow Lists
If you would like to test updating Allow Lists instead of sending an invite to a specific user:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Find and select your test account
- Click Save List
- Click Save selected accounts as a new list
- Enter a list name
- Click Save List
- Select Offers from the left menu
- Click into the offer you are testing
- Choose Access on the left
- Use the Allow Lists drop-down menu to choose the new list
- Click Save Changes
Logging in as an Investor
You can log in as an investor at any time by taking the following steps:
- Select Accounts from the left menu
- Click into any of your investor accounts
- Choose the Users tab
- Click Create Invite
- Copy the Secure Invite Link
- Paste the link in a different browser
