Modified on Thu, Mar 3, 2022 at 2:21 PM

There are several options for configuring who can access each offer.

To update the status or visibility of an offer:

  1. Select Offers from the left menu
  2. Click into the offer you would like to update
  3. Choose Access on the left
  4. Use the Offer Visibility drop-down menu to select one of the following options:
    •  Active: Everyone who has access to your platform can view the offer
      •  If at the platform level, you enabled the setting “Require sign-in to view offers”, the user must log in first to see the offer

    • Public: Anyone with access to the offer's URL will be able to view it, regardless of whether they are signed into your platform

    • Preview: The offer will appear in your marketplace, but users will not be allowed to view this offer details page unless explicitly invited
      • Clicking the offer card in the marketplace will pop up a text box investors can use to request access

    • Invite Only (Hidden): The offer will not be visible in the marketplace at all
      • Only users explicitly invited to the offer will see it and be able to access the details

    • Coming Soon: The offer as a small card at the bottom of the marketplace in a section titled Coming Soon
      • The issuer name is the only detail revealed in this status

    • Not Active: The offer will only be visible to users with access to edit
      • This is the default status when an offer is being created
      • You can always click the “Preview” button in the top right of the page to see what it looks like from the investor’s view.

  5. Use the Offer Status drop-down menu to select one of the following options:
    • Open: Allows users who have access to the offer to make investments

    • Closed: Indicates to users that you’ve reached your funding goal, and the offer will appear in a section titled Recently Completed Offerings
  6. Click Save Changes
