How can I receive all the data my platform is collecting for my own analysis and/or visualizations? (Google Data Studio, Google Analytics)

Adding your Google Analytics ID (or Tag Manager ID) to your platform will allow you to receive ALL the raw data / events generated in your platform in Google Analytics.

To find the Google Analytics ID, you can follow the example here:

From here, you have the option of retrieving the Measurement ID, that is a single analytics tag shown in the screenshot below (always starts with G-):

Alternatively, you can click Configure Tag Settings to retrieve a Tag Manger ID.  Tag Manager allows you to setup multiple tags (always starts with GTM-).

To add either the Measurement ID or the Tag Manager ID to your platform, you can:

  1. Select Platform from the left menu
  2. Click Settings
  3. Choose Integrations
  4. Enter the ID in the field available under Send platform activity to your Google Analytics
  5. Click Update Platform

IMPORTANT: To ensure that you are able to tie all events and page views to a specific user in your platform, remember to create a User-ID enabled view for the GA ID you entered into your platform.
