Can a user have multiple accounts? (Add multiple users)

A single user can be associated with multiple accounts.  In situations where a user who primarily invests as an Entity, but would also like to invest as an individual, a second account can be created for them.


Example scenario

  • Joe is managing a fund, and has been added as a user in the Sunny Capital Partners entity account
  • Joe would like to personally invest from a personal account
  • Sunny Capital Partners would like to invest from multiple entity accounts
  • Joe prefers to use the same login credentials for multiple accounts

     

How to create a second account for the same user:

  1. Select Accounts from the left menu
  2. Search for the Sunny Capital Partners account
  3. Click into the account
  4. Select the Users tab
  5. Confirm Joe's email address
  6. Click Back to Investor List
  7. Click Add Account
  8. Choose Individual Investor from the drop-down menu
  9. Use Joe's email address to create a new personal account for him

     

How to add the same user to two existing accounts: 

  1. Select Accounts from the left menu
  2. Search for the Sunny Capital Partners account
  3. Click into the account
  4. Select the Users tab
  5. Confirm Joe's email address
  6. Click Back to Investor List
  7. Search for Joe's Personal account
  8. Click into the account
  9. Select the Users tab
  10. Click Add Existing User
  11. Enter Joe's email address to add him as a user on the account



Once Joe's email address has been added to two accounts, he will be able to switch between then the next time he logs in to the platform.
