The Investor Journey will track how users are engaging with the offers available on the platform.
To access:
- Select Engagement from the left menu
- Click Insights
- The Investor Journey will be visible for any available offer
Triggers for each stage:
- New Lead: Users you invited to the offer (using our email invite feature) or that organically signed up and viewed the offer, but spent less than 30 seconds doing so
NOTE: It is possible that users who have multiple accounts with access to an offer on only one account may appear on the Investor Journey as the account that does not have access. This happens if the user clicks on a link to the offer while logged in as the incorrect account, and they are redirected away from the page. Since the redirect takes less than 30 seconds (typically around 1 second), they will fall under New Lead.
- Initial Interest: Users who have spent more than 30 seconds viewing an offer
- First Engagement: Notes left in an investor's engagement feed
- Notes are used to track meaningful off-platform (phone, email) engagement with investors
- Reviewing Documents: Users clicked into and started reviewing any document
- Signing Documents: Users started e-signing offering documents, but have yet to complete and submit the transaction
- Payment Processing: Contribution transactions created, awaiting payment (or admin acknowledgment that wire transfer was initiated)
- Committed: Commitment transactions created
- This stage is only available in the journey when offers have either the Commitment Only or Interest Only step added to the Investor Flow
- Investment Complete: Payment received or transaction marked as complete
- Not Interested: Investors are manually moved to this stage.
- In the event user later becomes active after being moved to this stage, the option to move user to previous stage is present
