How can I see if any KYC/AML or Accreditation checks have been run? (Transactions, Status, Investor Check)

The status of KYC/AML and Accreditation checks can be monitored individually or in bulk.

In Bulk

You can review the status of all checks you have run on either the Transactions page or the Accounts page of your platform. 

To navigate to these pages:

1. Select Transactions or Accounts from the left menu
2. Use the plus column to add the KYC or KYC Status column
   • From the Accounts page, you can use the Filter menu to view all accounts with the same KYC status

Different statuses indicate stages of the check, or the check results:

• Run KYC or run check: A check has not been initiated 
  • You can initiate the check by clicking the links
    
    
• Pending: A check has been initiated 
  
  
• Need more info: More details are required to complete the check
  • To see what is missing, click question mark 
  • The investors will receive a notification and can go back to the Accreditation tab of their accounts to upload the missing documents
    
    
• New info added: Once an investor has provided additional details, the status will update and the reviewer will be prompted to continue the check
  
  
• Clear: No red flags were found
  
  
• Consider: Potential red flags were noted, and you can allow the investor to continue the process at your discretion
  • Generally, if the watchlist is clear, investors proceed
  • If the document check yields results such as compromised_document, age_validation, or police_record there may be cause for concern

• Disapproved: Red flags were found

You can export from either the Transactions or Accounts pages if you would like to review the results for all investors.

Individually

You can review more details of the KYC/AML checks from within an investor's account.

To navigate:

1. Select Accounts from the left menu
2. Click into any investor's account
3. Click View KYC/AML Status

The results will be visible, and any failure reasons will appear.  If you have run the check with Onfido, you will be able to download the report.
