Collecting Payment Methods Securely (Store Payment Type, Save ACH)

Keeping PII (Personal Identifying Information) safe is WealthBlock's mission as you begin to onboarding investors into the platform. We have added a secure method of enabling your investors to store their banking information under their Accounts page. 


NOTE: This is only an option if you are not currently using any integration or payment provider integrated into the WealthBlock platform.  If you have any questions before enabling please submit a ticket through the Support Portal


To Enable:


  1. Select Platform from the left menu
  2. Click Settings
  3. Choose the Features tab
  4. Use the checkbox to Allow Investors to add Payment Method
  5. Click Update Platform 


 

For Investors: 


  1. Click My Account at the top of the page
  2. Select the Payment Method Tab
  3. Click Add New Payment Method

     
  4. Follow Plaid prompts for secure ACH account

     
  5. Once successful, the investor will see the following message
