How do I require different Subscription Documents from specific investors? (Sub-Docs, E-Sign, Investor Flow)

Any offer on your platform may require different investor to sign different documents.  For example, you may need signatures on specific Subscription Documents for Entities that do not apply to Individuals.  


It is possible to hide or display the E-Sign Document step based on an investor's account.


To do so: 

  1. Select Offers from the left menu
  2. Click into the Offer you would like to update
  3. Choose Investor Flow from the left menu
  4. Click Add An Investment Step
  5. Select E-Sign Document from the drop-down menu
  6. Click Add an E-Sign Template
  7. Here you will have the option Create a New E-Sign Template
  8. Once the template has been created, you can choose the Step Name
  9. You will then use the Visible Only To drop-down menu to indicate which investors should see the step
    • You can choose between a specific Role or a custom List that you have created in your CRM



You can repeat this process for as many different documents that you have for an offer.  As an admin user, you might see five E-Sign Document steps added to your Investor Flow.  However, as long as the Visible Only To selection has made, an investor will only see the documents that apply to them during the investment process.
