Can an investor invest in an offer without signing up to use the platform? (No-Sign-Up Flow, Frictionless Investing)

If you would like to allow you potential investors to invest in your offers without going through the sign-up process, you can choose to Enable No Sign Up Investing at the offer level. 

NOTE: Please submit a ticket through the Support Portal to enable this feature at the platform level first.

Once the feature is enabled at the platform level, you can update your offers.

To do so: 

1. Select Offers from the left menu
2. Click into the offer you would like to update
3. Choose Access on the left
4. Use the checkbox to Enable No Sign Up Investing
5. Click Save Changes

NOTE: To ensure an investor account is created for any new investors during the investment process, you will need to add the Complete Account Form step to the Investor Flow of the offer.

When an investor visits your platform, they will see any offers that are set to Public visibility.  Should you decide you would like to limit visibility, you can set the offer to Invite Only (Hidden).  Doing so will allow you to share the offer URL with investors who do not need to go through the sign-up process.

The obtain the URL for an offer: 

1. Select Offerings from the top of your page
2. Click into any offer
3. Copy the URL from the address bar
   • It should follow this format: https://invest.yourplatform.com/offering/symbol/details

When the investor reaches the offer page, they will have the option to invest without logging in or signing up to use the platform.

After submitting their investment amount, they will be routed through the Investor Flow.  When they reach the Complete Account Form step, they will be prompted to enter their email address.

This will be used to create a new account for new investors directly in the flow.  

NOTE: If an investor already has an account, they will be asked to log in to proceed.

Once the flow is complete, the investor will have the option to access their account information and set a password that they can use to log in to the platform at any time.
